La Rousseliere is ideally situated in the Loire Valley for visiting
the renowned chateaux of the area, including the famous Chenonceau,
only 1km away. There are many beautiful towns
and villages to visit nearby with their
traditional markets, including Blois, Amboise,
Montrichard and Loches, which
are all within 30 minutes drive.
The area is abundant with vineyards where
you can taste and purchase wines.
Many sporting activities are available if
you wish to keep active.
One of the best zoos in Europe is only
20 minutes drive. The very impressive Futuroscope
theme park is just over an hour away. Other
activities nearby include an aquarium,
mini-chateaux park, various other theme
parks and balloon or aircraft trips.
